Gaetano Di Vito began collecting antiques at the age of ten. His collection has grown increasingly over time, embracing almost all trades, objects and artistic expressions of our socio-historical reality. There are many curiosities: you can go from a bottle that catches flies to one of the first glass baby’s bottles by Roberts, from the barber’s egg (used to put in the mouth of people too thin, to better shave their beard), to a significant collection of ceramics from ancient prints to objects of sacred art, from medical equipment to objects of peasant civilization, from the equipment of shoemakers to that of carpenters to the several tins and tools for spinning and weaving, not to mention the painful and joyful memories of emigration.
